Firstly would I stay here again.... No! Is it clean. Yes!.. so why wouldn't I come back, I'm in my 50's and like something a little bit better than this,. There's not much in the area and if I'm honest it's a bit rough which is a shame as the staff were friendly and our cottage was clean and tidy but that's about it. The luxury cottage is over two floors with a double bed and ensuite upstairs and twin bedroom downstairs and a small lounge and shower room, so plenty of room for four. There was complementary tea and coffee but only enough milk to make one cup, there was no soap in the shower but luckily we had bought our own.. The beds were comfortable and we all slept well. it's cheap and that's about it....! Okay if you're on a budget.
Stayed a night there before catching the ferry to NL. Room was nice. Shared bathroom and shower. Bar downstairs is very busy and noisy. Parked my motorcycle on the road in front where they have security cameras. Corner store across the road. Very very close to the ferry terminal.

A little pricey, but not extortionate given the harbour views and good food. Emphasis on seafood, but good steaks and other alternatives. The orange juice and lemonade I ordered as a drink was a good indicator of quality - proper squeezed orange juice. Gluten free options very clear, so my wife and I had a good meal. Will return.
Amazing find !! I spent an evening yesterday here and enjoyed our visit immensely. I had a fantastic and very tasty meal which was top notch. The highlight of the evening was having cocktails in the bar with Josh the Barman making some fantastic drinks for us even going to the extent of making a Singapore Sling for me which he had never made before! Think he had great customer service and is a real bonus to this lovely venue .. thanks guys

It was, a hot day. 6 of us were treated to a birthday lunch. We were the only ones in the main restaurant as the rest if customers were outside. The meal was outstanding. Staff very attentive. I would recommend it to my friends and family.
Beautiful hotel with artistic decor. Restaurant ceiling a must see. Staff very friendly.

Pretty much all you could want from a pub. Nice people, great beer, incredibly tasty food. Burger served with the salad that normally goes in it on the side so a) it's not soggy and b) if you don't like gherkin, onion, tomato or lettuce then you don't have to fish it out. Nice little touch! Live music on Fridays, fish and steak priced by the weight (board in the bar saying what is in stock) The outside from the street looks old fashioned, but don't be deceived! Fresh interior while keeping a traditional pub feel. Will come back if I'm in the area!
An exceptionally old Inn. With tremendous character and beautifully restored. The top floor family suite (1 double bedroom, 1 twin bedroom, 1 family bathroom and landing with mirror and tea/coffee facilities) we occupied was furnished sufficiently well. The full English breakfast was perfect in every way. The owners and staff were friendly and knowledgeable.

Just opened kitchen again. Food was very nice. I can recommend the haddock scotch eggs
Very friendly and dogs are allowed in the rear garden. An impressive selection of unusual ciders too. Food is reasonably priced and served quickly.

Jen and Mick are very welcoming. An incredible renovation of their home and attached cottage. They are considerate and thoughtful in supplying a few welcoming treats but have ensured that all the essentials are ready. The cottage is clean and full of character. The wood burning stove is relaxing and comforting. Local to the beach, shops and swimming pool. Great walks and all of the locals were extremely friendly.
Great place for any lenght of stay. Friendly owners.

Good lively place on a Friday and Saturday night. Friendly bar staff. Good prices on drinks.
Excellent barmaid who knew our drinks after serving us once, older lady who knew how to keep customers talking and laughing without compromising service.

If you would like something truly different you might like to have a look at Airbnb. These are mostly B and Bs provided by people on a very informal basis. The may have a spare room, a yurt, a cottage or a barge with space they can receive guests for a night or a month! The website is highly professional. You can really see what you are going to get. Very well worth a look. Airbnb also show 'conventional' B&Bs as well. Enjoy!

Went with a group of friends for a summer lunch. Nice rural pub, although just off A120 at Ramsey. Great menu with large number of specials to choose from all at reasonable prices. Beef burgonon to die for, good selection of veggie options. Extensive pudding choices as well, would recommend highly. Not too busy for lunch but definitely book for evening.
Very friendly staff, great beers, good food
